Been too busy at work.. finally can at least take a break from the hectic work life and got into my reservist for a 2.5weeks of this month. Can I consider this as a getaway for me? Haha..

Anyway, whatever it is, I am still contactable throughout this period as what I have promised my colleagues before i left for my in-camp-training. Training gonna start soon, shift system has been planned and I will working night shift for the first week then followed by the morning shift on the last week. Probably another shagged-out exercise once again. bleah!

Finally, I have the luxury to go for my dental checkup after planning and booked for my appointment since dunno when. I felt so much assured that at least now my teeth can hang on there for a longer time. But this clinic waiting time is disaster, not forgetting the bleeding of my gum and ended with a hole in my wallet. sob~

It has been quite sometime that I have updated this blog of mine.

Brrrpp.... just finish taking my heavy breakfast. Big Breakfast + Hotcakes. So fattening! HAHA. Appetite has been growing again? I hope not else... oh dear! back to my roundie shape. :(

Been working for extra hours since last Friday till now. Doing patch management for the servers as the audit is coming. We are all exhausted and frozen. This place is a blardy mortuary! Sigh! Fed with all the unhealthy food aka fastfood. So fattening!

On the other hand, after my sis moved out of the house. Kinda miss her really, feeling really weird when she is not back home, no doubt in the past she always return home late, but at least I still get to see her in her room the next day morning. Well, I guess this is another phase of our life. It's good enough that she comes back to visit me and my family once a while, we are staying really close anyway. Missed driving the bumblebeeeee. =) Still waiting to watch the related videos and pics taken during her wedding.

Things are really getting better at work these days, can see a significant change in process compared to a few months ago. No doubt I'm still as busy as ever, probably due to the fact that my Citrix implementation project has come to the final stage and it's gonna be roll out the start of next week. Atmosphere is rather tensed up this week, and the primary contact would be me. So sad. Well, at least on the other hand, there is something to shout about, which is the knowledge that I've gained through this project. :)

Rather delighted that we have more staff coming in to help us in short term basis and they are still bringing in staff as a few has left or is leaving.

Had some findings on the issue, resolution to the root cause of the problem is kinda revealed. We need to gather more information before the projection of the message to the customer. Well, I will leave it to my PM to deal with this.

I guess the next time for myself, it would be better to do it in staggered, can see those expressions from my sis that she was getting so impatient of the photo-taking session already. It's better to take some of them on your own before the actual studio and outdoor shot. Then I was comparing them with some of the links given by my cousin. Quite professional and well taken.

Just reached home not long after returning from Data Center. Had some monitoring agent installation and break fies to perform at 10am till about 3pm. In order to have enough rest, I've decided to finish the job as fast as I can. Reason being that tonight I need to cover the job for some switches migration from 10pm to about 2am tonight. :)

Guess I won't be driving to work tonight as I'm rather afraid I will just fall asleep along the lonely road back home. :P The weather is so hot.. zzz sweating like a dog again.

Oh yeah, folks... the BBQ has been postponed to 19th July instead. Hopefully, no more ad-hoc jobs again!

Looks like all my peers are struggling with their work these days, it seems to me that being in outsourcing delivery field isn't what all of us sought after. Definitely, we will all try our best in our current situation and move on with life as long as there are better opportunities out there. We are all just hanging on now.

Had a great gathering session with 5 of them last night as they didn't manage to attend the gathering at St James. This food served by this Boon Lay restaurant was reasonably good, pics can be found at Shuhui's blog. So sorry for being late last night! :) There were some chatting sessions yesterday, and I was only told that there are some changes in the management once again, hopefully things does not change much for us.

Many of my close friends are falling sick these days, really hope that their health would pick up asap. Anyway, can't wait for the next gathering session at Philip's place. I remember he has golden retriever at home. HEHE!

Hmm... sometimes I do feel that my life is rather empty at times.. Is this the syndromes for being too busy with work, becoming too unhealthy to my personal life already? Well, I shall be more optimistic from now on. :)

Despite knowing that I hate going to clubbing, but yesterday was really an exceptional case for me. Had earlier on promised my colleague that we will be celebrating for her on her last day of work in HP. That's the reason why I attended the gathering. :)

I was so shocked to realized that I was the only one there upon reaching. Myo is excused due to the fact that he has some job to do in DC. He told me it is a tragedy to him. I just laughed. What happened to the others!! Please write me a IR for that. Humph!

Julie + Me, saw the distinctive polo I wore... It was so last minute. HAHA.

Nonetheless, I tried to stay as long as I could, but I gonna leave at midnight as I have job to perform at DC tomorrow morning. What's happening to me lately?

Been experiencing several unhappy incidents these days... I guess I really need to go for some praying sessions asap. Been rather down on luck for both work and personal life. HELP! I SHOOUT!

Earlier in the morning received few alerts and smses from bosses telling us that some issue with the server and blackberry service went down. I was told to be prepared to be on standby from tonight 6pm onwards, my other colleagues were already there since last night I think.

Went out today in the afternoon with my brother and while waiting to exit the gantries. An arrogant lady tried to squeeze in and kissed the rear bumper of our car. Now got to wait for sis to return and discuss about the date schedule for the repairs. Definitely, I demand for a free one. DAMNN..

Just got replies from boss saying that majority of the problems are resolved, there no need for me to go down to DC this evening, what a relief! But nevertheless, I would be expected to be in office early tomorrow. Well, for me its the normal timing at 8.30am. If I were to go down for the repairs tomorrow, I would need to get a half day urgent off or something to settle it.

I am so hungry today despite it is suppose to be a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Anyway, lesson learn after the incident earlier on. At the least, I know what are the standard procedures and stuff. Wish me luck from now onwards. Hopefully, no more sad post again. Smile! :)

I guess you can remember the post few days back about some issues I executed at work which lead to some unhappiness at work for me. Thinking that the problem might have solved after seeing my bosses came down that day for a meeting with the troublemaker. But apparently, the problem seems to be still dangling there till now. Tomorrow, I would need to have a "good chat" with my project manager to let him have a better understanding on what has actually happened, mainly I need to put things across chronologically so that he has enough facts to reason for me. Knowing the fact that I have nothing to hide so I would tell him what I have done for that few cases. It's Friday tomorrow, suppose to be the best day of the week, but once again, it would be the "longest" Friday ever to me again. Sigh!

Anyway, life has to move on so let's talk about the happy moments instead. Hearing from my buddy that there seems to be some good deals at the PC Show today. Yeap! It just started today, hopefully I can find time to drop by the show to take a good look at the pretty girls, i meant Nikon or canon girls. HAHAHA! Let me take a look at my hwz first for some reviews.

Feeling rather emo tonight.. not sure why but suddenly just have the thoughts of my dear friend XY who came into my mind. Wonder how is she doing at the other world now. She is always living in my heart, thats the fact that we all know. We might have missed out the good times together, but the memories are there forever. She is a strong girl hence I always believe she is enjoying herself like how she used to be.

Another friend of mine just told me about her bad omen that she is having this year. Definitely, I do not wish this is true but I can't deny the fact that this bad news has driven into my head. Whatever how bad things might turn out to be, I will be there for you alright? Just be extra careful on your part too. I don't think god is so cruel to me. He has already taken away one of my close friend earlier this year. Not another blow to me again. Definitely not!

Not a bad gathering last night, haven't been enjoying myself ever since I started working. Had our 1st drinking session at Clarke Quay at BREWWERKS, it has always been a nice place for a drink or two. We ordered a tower and shared among the 6 of us. I managed to finish 2 mugs, as my peers are all great drinkers as compared to me. Feeling so tired after such a long walk from PS to TT, upon reaching home, took a quick bath and slept throughout the night.

@Darence, I've read your blog and I feel that it's right for you to blurted it all out. Actually, you could have make it a confession to her as well. You might end up getting her out from her BF clutches. HAHA! Anyway, do not feel so shag nor down, I can understand the agony you are currently going through now. Just have more chatting sessions with her, talk your feelings out and things might just turned out the way you expected it to be. All the best Bro! Things still not getting any better within the team. Today, one of my network colleague went back to main office to meet up with his tower manager towards his resignation. Being a rather highly certified network guy, he might have realized the opportunities out there would seem to be far far better off than where he is at now.

Quite a number of things happen for the past 2 days at work, outages here and there... spot checks... unnecessary incident report by sickening end users... higher management pressure... team morale getting lower and lower... DR and other projects coming along the way... and also not forgetting the bad weather.

Whatever bad or unhappy moments we have, life still has to go on. So why frown everyday, I would rather give it a smile towards my daily life. The death of my best friend will always remind me to keep my life going by treasuring every single day with joy and strive.

Lastly, Congrats to cousin Nic! To your confirmation day! Didn't know about this until I read your blog. :)

Sick & Tired of the work

Recently, there have been lots of ups and downs in the account. All the way from Operations, project, internal team, communication.. etc. The list would just go on and on...

Can feel the tension within the group and also the shakiness of the team morale. Being observant, realized that there are a couple of mates would be leaving this account and the number is increasing as day goes by. Being ashamed of myself that the team is already so small, with just a handful of 10 of us. Hearing the news that another new colleague (Unix person) will be joining our team really bring down my torture and sufferings by a level.

On the other hand, there are certain internal issues which are injecting us. I will not mention them and do not ask me as well. :) The fact that even the new friends that I made in the account (end user environment) are leaving one after another, you can roughly gauge the politics this account is having despite the fact you can get at least 4 months of variable bonus or more. Being in the vendor's environment to this account, you can visualize the scene without me elaborating any further.

Well, I guess outsourcing environment is really not an end career for me definitely, just keeping my fingers crossed and see how long I can endure through. :)

Bro will be heading to aussie for this exchange program this coming saturday and will be there for 2 weeks.

And yah! I receive an email this morning from my hotmail, realizing it is residing at the junk-mail section, almost deleted it without even taking a look at it. Guess what! Its from MINDEF. DAMN!

Without say another word, it's definitely gonna be another CallUp from them! Grr... Well, I will take a look at the date again later. The NS Portal seem to be having some problem now.

Back at work, this month is going to be a busy one due to the fact that we have to perform several runs of the DR exercise within our team before embracing the real one at the end of this month. Rather scary for us as this is the first time I am doing this and our renewal contract is also around the corner. Can really feel the HEAT! :)

Just like what the title depicts, my fellow colleague plan for the activities this week and I am allocated as primary standby this week despite the fact that I have not even worked as a secondary role yet. :( Anyway, myo and myself dislike the life of being on standby, guess most IT personnel needs to do it one way or another. Can feel that the morale in working in this account isn't getting any better when external factors/feedbacks were taken into considerations.

Many of my close friends know that I've stopped playing facebook due to the fact that it's too messy on my profile page, well its purely my fault cos I just add all the applications/invitations anyhow, that causes my profile page to get longer and longer each time.

Anyway, I have done some housekeeping and I've remove most of the applications there, so whatever leftover applications you can see now are just those common ones I would take a glance at.

Recently, my colleague has introduced to me this game in facebook, Knighthood! This game looks pretty interesting given the fact that the help page actually links to wiki, you can find more information about this game and it also teaches you the strategic ways on how to play this game. Sounds cool uh! I have just started yesterday and now the page is undergoing some maintenance, arghh!! I have recruited some of my friends as my vassals but there are some strategy in this game, one of the tip is do not recruit all your friend from the start, cos you might lose them all because you need a strong defense force under your realm when you are under an attack. As of this game, you will lose YOUR FRIENDS to other people. :P

Yawns.... woke up an hour ago... finally had a peaceful rest on my comfy bed. The nice weather accommodated my sleep too. :)

After settling the work and came out of DC at around 5am plus, can feel alive again after taking a few breaths of the fresh air in the early morning, the very first thing came to my mind is, ARMY! Cos thats the time we used to wake up and do "5BX" everyday. Though my DC office is situated at some industrial area, the early rain really put those unhealthy air away, well at least I hope that way. :)

Booked a cab and reached home this morning around 6am, settled down real fast and quickly jumped onto my bed! Knocked out so quickly thinking that I've actually been sleeping for a long time inside my dreams. While later, phone started ringing, picked up and realized something happened, took a glance at the time, its showing 9+. :( Can't sleep with peace as I expected more calls to flow in, hence I went to sit in front of my laptop again. Started checking emails.. etc.

Problem was managed to resolve slightly after 1pm, feeling rather lethargic already, went into the bathroom to refresh myself again. Took my lunch, thereafter I make sure things are running as per normal before I head to my bed again.

Come to think of it, I've actually worked for more than one full day! Can really understand the meaning of "It's all in your mind" now. HAHA! Commando~! Sometimes, the satisfaction of completing a lot of tasks really give you a good jab to spur you on after working in a hectic, non-comprehensive and full of politics environment. Though I have lot of personal things that are yet to be done, hopefully I can try to complete some or most of them by this weekend.

Had a good rest finally, despite I'm still waking up during my weekends, reason being I need to work in the late evening tonight and tomorrow night. :(

Meet up with my fellow colleagues in the afternoon for lunch! We are the closest colleagues back in our HQ, though Harvey came in slightly later. Only met him for barely a week or so before I got attached to my current account, as for Ling, it's the first time they met each other, so sad! Cos that means that we are hardly back to our main office. :(

This year birthday is rather special to me as it's a new bunch of people (the 5 above) whom I celebrated my birthday with, they really make it a point to be there despite it's a saturday. Thanks guys & gers, Really appreciated it!

Normally, I will always make it a point to treat my buddies on my birthday every year. But this year, one of them has left us, thus it will definitely make it an awkard gathering as the mood will be so different compared to the past years. Hence, I did not send out any invitation. However, I believe we will all pack our emotions quickly and work hard together. Nevertheless, can't wait to meet up with my buddies next weekend!

Feeling rather tired, have the intention of getting home early so that I can at least have a few hours of rest before heading to RP to work. Unfortunately, time passed so quickly and I only realised it when I reach my area, it was already 4pm or so. :(

Back from work, everything went smoothly, but we were more concern about tomorrow event as the systems and network devices will bound to face some problem booting up, but really hope that the damages will be minimal.

Alright, time to sleep..... shall wait for mel to send me the pics she took. I will try to post them up before I sleep tomorrow. :)

Work is still as busy as ever... despite having team meeting today, I am still expected to hold the line from service desk engineers. The worse thing is the message doesn't sink into their mind after telling them I will revert back to them an hour later. Well, got used to it somehow anyway.

Yesterday, the new(13 years) network engineer joined our team, let see how far he will stay on. However, my ADM did mention that he will be here in this account permanently, but I still feel that its not appropriate to put someone with that kind of experience in here, most likely we will lose him. Only people like us with less than 2-3 years of experience will stay on cos we need to be moulded and absorb as much as we can. In my opinion, I feel that 1 month will be good enough to test his limits here, really hope that he will prove me wrong. :P

After today's meeting, we then realised that meal allowance are given to us, luckily I asked for the rest. New engineer will be coming in, but not sure who will he/she be, hopefully it will be someone with less than 3 years of experience, else he will give a fug damn to this account for sure.

I pressume that this coming week would be another hectic one compared to last week. Why is this so? Cos this week will be the last week for my current lead to finish the transition process and not forgetting the meetings going on. To make things worse, I am tasked to be the engineer to pick up calls during office hours for the entire week, this job will allow me to face alot of nuisance calls. But well, I guess I'm prepared for it. In this working society, you are just forced to be pro at anything despite you know you are not one. As for my case, I'm just like doing fire-fighting every single day at work, when we are not suppose to be working or managing this account in this way, so it's pretty disappointing. People around us will say that this is a Commando ground, hence I added on to it, Hendon Camp! LOL

Anyway, back to my daily routine and work life, been working quite late for the entire week, can say that this week is a disaster to all of us, a lot of problems and still solving them. Super no life for us, other than sleeping throughout the night, most of the time is devoted to our work. Argh! Hopefully all of us can pull through this transition period and the new team will work closer with our new lead with new resolution and regime.

For the past few weeks, there have been alot of events going on and been rather busy with errands. First, I went for my Manila trip, next with my best friend passed on, then came with my ICT and lastly my Graduation Convocation Ceremony. As you can see, the entries doesn't seem to be regular at all. With so many things that have happened and we all know that life has to go on somehow or another. All of us will try our best to pick ourselves up and continue our journey with our love ones and not forgetting to treasure all of them every single minute.

And now, with my graduation convocation ceremony being over, this day really marks the end of my tertiary life, but who knows I may take up my Masters or Phd in the future, we shall see alright? :) Whatever it is, really feel that I've grown more mature mentally though I may still look young physically or at heart to you people. Well That's the real me anyway! Hee!

It's really about time to start planning what I would like to do and commit for the next coming few years on my career and maybe relationship, apart from just slogging my way through my employment with HP. All I can say is that this first ICT of mine really taught me alot of things, met alot of people in there, i.e. Bankers, IT people, Businessman and also SIA Pilot. I would really try my best to make those unforeseen dreams to reality soon. Pray for me! :P

Time to see a doctor soon, happened to get into rashes for the last 2 days. Argh.. so itchy, like kena some itchy powder or wat. :X Wanted to drop by the clinic just now after my lunch, but it closed at 1230pm, damn! End of ICT + Convocation!

No doubt there isn't much things to do during my ICT, but I have been waking up very early since last Wednesday. For the entire week, I will only reach home at around 10pm, checking of emails is the only thing I would do before I sleep. Suddenly I felt so tired again. LOL!

Well, to add up to the excitement and tiredness this week, It's my Convocation today! After so many months, the day has finally come. It's really great to see some of my Aussie lecturer to attend this ceremony and meeting up with most of my classmates. It is surprisingly to see some of them getting the Degree of Distinction award, especially DARENCE! Nah, actually I've speculated on that and he is rather aware of it. Anyway, I think no big deal to anyone as most of us are already employed, it serves no significant to us. :)

Currently, I'm still waiting for the rest to mail out the pictures we took, though I have only receive from Siwei. Shall wait for the rest before I start posting up here.

Rushed back to camp straight after Convocation, hoping to out process at 5pm. But it dragged till 7pm. Heard that the next coming ICT would be at November this year, and it's not a good one too. So I shall pray for cancellation on this event. HEE!

ICT Day 4

Had a cold last night I guessed, or rather I got stung by some flying objects. Now I am having a slight rashes on my neck, so awkard and disgusted over it. It is rather itchy and I can't stand it, end up scratching it. Now it really hurts and sometimes it is itchy as well. Damn! Didn't do much in camp today, despite being an instructor for this ICT. HEE. Spent 3 hours in the Medical Centre during the 2nd half of the day. Got a Calamine lotion and some disinfection pills, to my horror, I saw flu pills. WTH! I wasnt on flu at all manz. ZZz

Thereafter, I went to confirm with my Officer, and he just let me go for my Convo this friday, hee. I knew it that he was just joking with me that day. Went down to collect the gown just now and saw several ex-classmates there as well. Glad to know they are back from indonesia and some Intake 1 classmates. Realised alot of people actually went down to collect it already. We are just the few remaining who hasnt collected. There is no more size 7 trencher, so I took size 7.5 instead, it fits well actually, maybe I really have a big head. :(

Time to check office emails. After that, I shall go apply the lotion and really hope it will go away by 50% by tomorrow morning, else I really look like some physco guy with few patches of rashes around my neck. So ugly and disgusting. :(

So many unhappy things happened on my First day of my First ICT...

1) Wasted unnecessary cab fares from Clementi to Camp which cost $17 for a short journey at peak hour.
2) Got caught for long hair, went for a sucky haircut. Not sure if my colour will be identified in the next 7 days to come.
3) Might not be able to get off day on next friday for my Graduation Ceremony as it's the day of out-processing.

So sian manz!

Tomorrow will be my first ICT back to my camp. Kinda afraid of my hair actually, hopefully I can smoke through my way, else I would be shave bald manz. :S Managed to dig out my Number. 4 suit and most importantly, my boots! LOL. So dusty and not kiwi-ed for a long period of time. Really "enjoy" kiwi-ing my boots as it reminds me of the time spent in camp during my NS days. HEHE.

Being rather lucky, my upperstudy and I will be having the same ICT this year. Rather cool huh! :P

Things seem to be picking up well here. Really get to enjoy the GOODIES here, especially during proper meals. Dinners are always good till now.

1st Day @ Manila

Brought a big luggage here, should have chosen the smaller one. Anyway, I still manage to transport it to my hotel. Reached hotel around 5+, time zone is the same as singapore. Met up with my peers at another level then we headed for dinner. SH(Lead) and his friend drove us to somewhere near XXX (will check out the place later), the place looks rather similar to Boat Quay. Will nice environment and settings, We settled down for a fusion dinner if I didn't get it down wrongly. She made reservations before we were there.

Traffic isn't that bad compared to those at BKK. Customer sites are pretty near our hotel, so another plus for me. After dinner, she brought us to The Fort - Embassy Crusine, the very first time that I went to clubbing, and it happened to be in overseas. So funny right? Hee. Had few drinks and feeling rather tipsy and tired. Went back to hotel to meet up with my Lead to explain some details for the next day.

Will be getting my local Call card now and I think my Auto Roaming is working. :P But it's so expensive. I shall think twice before I make another call. Hee. Will be going for breakfast soon. Later I will changing my room to upstairs to meet up with Mel as Myo is flying back SG later in the afternoon.

Didn't win anything from the Dinner. But, should have a high chance to seize the Top Prize, which is a XBOX 360 console, but some crappy things happened and it was redrawn to another fella. Damn! In overall, enjoyed the whole event as it was my first DnD. There are more to come though. But there is one thing very disappointing, that is, NO LIQUOR!

Flying to Manila/Magati: 2 more days.

Mel most probably will be extending her stay there till around 28 Jan, whereby I will be back on 1st Feb. Hence, we will be able to see each more often there. Not sure about Myo, hopefully he is staying behind as well, I think he doesn't want to be back in sg no matter what. Cos it would be equally as bad as coming back here. :)

No doubt I'm getting more and more adapted to the working environment, but still there are alot of things I need to pick up in the shortest period of time. Today I almost learn several new things in one day. Can't really seem to digest all of them, so I will try my best to pick them up as the day goes by. So quickly, Tomorrow is Thursday! Coming to a weekend soon! Will be flying off to Manila next Wednesday afternoon, heard from Mel, over her side things are getting so messy that she might need to sacrifice her weekends to work and may need to extend their stay too. No news from Wintel side as I have yet to chat with Myo yet. If thats the case, I am still pondering why did we change our flight to a later date? beats me man!

Another busy day tomorrow! No more Msn for me at work! Until I have time to installed Meebo or some other messenger applications into my laptop and configure them properly. :(

What a lousy Monday morning! Waited for my colleague for almost 2 hours at Mrt this morning as he was late due to some reasons that he slept late last night.

I folded more than 150 notification letters and put into the envelopes for the whole morning. In total, I have printed close to 250 notification letters. For a second, I thought I've applied for a postman role in office. LOL.

Next Tuesday Manila flight is being brought forward to Monday afternoon, checked my email this afternoon that the flight is confirmed and I'm taking SQ airlines. Hee. Will return on Feb 1 morning and arrival would be expected to be at 11am in the morning.

4 more days to go.. Friday would be my first D&D! It's held at Meritus Mandarin Ballroom! Hope I will just get drunk and crawl my way back home!

Woot! I stayed up till 9+pm on thursday, which means to say I slogged for close to 14hours that day, from 6.30am to 9+pm! LOL.

Worked till 12 midnight yesterday as well, we ordered mac delivery to the office. Left around 12+am, took a cab back home.

Thinking that today I might be needed as well in office but luckily team lead let me have a rest this weekend. Gotta claim OT OT OT and OFF OFF OFF from them next time. Hmph!

So tired man!

Something so saddening happened, received mail telling me that next week my windows course is postponed, which means to say I cant have a 1-week short break next week. Not sure when will the next course be at, and hopefully it doesnt clashes with ICT period, else I will gonna miss that out as well. Pray hard!

So surprise to see myself to be sitting here in office at this hours... coming to 6pm.. which means I have worked for around 12 hours for the day. Brain is totally switched off and my eyelids are so heavy and they cant hold on any longer. So aching at the back of my head across to the end of my neck. Why am I still around here! Damn, today is my last day of my early reporting schedule, hence by thinking of this will at the least spurs me up!

Being out of goodwill, I voluntarily stand behind to cover the job of my colleagues who are rather busy at the moment. Standing Team Lead has offered me a ride home. At the least, I felt so much appreciated for staying back here. Just hate squeezing with the crowd at this hour despite I came early in the morning today. Hopefully, things will turn out better in the near future when the 4 newbies operators start working here. Then, I anticipate that I will be posted out of here to another office to support the service requests there.

Cant type on anymore, my eyes are just too tired to stare at the screen. Take a stroll around the room. SO NOISY! Dammit!

Seriously, the only thing I would to do after returning from work is bathe, slack awhile, surf internet awhile then proceed to bed. The time really accelerated so quickly that I never even noticed it. Trying so badly to fall asleep by 10pm latest is almost impossible to the clock within me. As many of my friends do know that I need a buffer time to fall asleep, that's the disadvantage for being a light sleeper, or rather I am the odd and rare one out.

It's already Wednesday today, just passed the mid of the week which is kind of relief to me. That also means I only need to wake up at 5+ for two more days and I will be reverted to normal working hours. In fact, other than waking up early, I feel it's rather good at the least the morning transport is covered by company when I take a cab to work. =P Been learning pretty smoothly for the past few days, understudy someone and get to know each other better each day! Coming to the end of the 'training' week, which means I will be learning more things and getting higher responsibility for the upcoming phase of learning. Hopefully, things can just come in at the right pace so that for slow people like myself can pick up and execute the right steps.

Life is so fragile... shortly after my lunch, Dan sent me a message over the msn suddenly, thinking it must be some shocking news, indeed it turned out to be a tragic news. How can someone without any illness gets heart failure out of a sudden, maybe he didn't disclose his hidden health report. But, what I wanna stress here is, life is really unpredictable so it's really wise to enjoy it while you can, live with joy. Finally, it's end of the week, New year 2008 is here and everybody is talking about the new year resolution. For me, I guess it would be family, health, happy, money, and a GF! Am I asking a little too much? LOL! If yes, then maybe the first two will do.

At work, everything seems to be picking up, workload and knowledge gets more and more, be it knowledge gained from HQ or Customer site. Both are equally important to my learning phase. Superior's expectations will tend to flood in and my brain juice would have to be squeezed more each time.

Yesterday evening, waited for ling to return to HQ office trying to get her new laptop fixed, to our surprise, we manage to get the work done in less than an hour. Being so lame that Ling only realised the LAN point at her desk is faulty, which stopped her from joining the domain since her first try. LOL. But the last 15 minutes or so was wasted on the line with jedi. Had dinner at Prata House but we kinda overshot by 2 bus stops. ZZZ! Had a nice session together and got to know more things; how she is "suffering" over at her customer site and also try to pick up some knowledge from her. She is a smart ass! Right Porky?

It's coming to an end of year 2007.... Looking back what I had done throughout the who year of 2007. Basically, majority of the time was spent on my undergraduate studies, and now I'm already working in a stressful environment.

Seems like most people are having half day session today, but I'm still in office. Fortunately, everything seems quite smoothly today, got a green light from team lead that we can all knock off at 3.30pm, which is just few minutes away. Will be having a dinner at Paramount Hotel tonight with my aunts and cousins to celebrate the New Year Eve, which really marks the end of 2007 and hope that this coming year will be a good one for all of us.

Not forgetting my good friend xinyan, hereby wish her good health and hope that she will recover very soon. =)

Time to pack up my stuff and wait for time to get pass quickly, can't wait to leave this cold area with so many "fridges/tombs" around. So noisy! Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz! Hate it, It's so irritating!

I got to reach office at 6.30am for the next 2 weeks. Fortunately, I can claim my morning cab fare. Knock off time will be adjusted accordingly, which means i knock off at 4pm. But not sure if there is half day tomorrow. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

I need to sleep early tonight, but I just cant seem to sleep at all! ARGH!

First day at Customer site was still okay, didn't manage to meet my team lead yet, probably tomorrow. This morning met up Myo who brought me around town in the morning to other branches to do some routine checks. Had Yakun Toast for breakfast at robinson's point. Then we took a cab back to data center.

Just got a sms message from Elvin. Telling me that xy condition got worse. My heartbeat stop for awhile. We would be heading to hospital tomorrow to visit her. Now my mind is so lost and blurred. Mixed feelings. I hope i can control my emotions tomorrow at work.

My nose is running water tap again. Help!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Xmas 07!

It was Christmas eve yesterday, I spent the early part of the day pretty worthwhile, things were done as planned. Catch up with Brandon to pass him his clothing's from the spree, we talked for a while standing at the MRT control, told me that he is busying with his house shifting. His schoolwork was quite intensive, pretty much similar to mine the last time.

Ling decided to change the meeting time cos she found out that she has a halfday yesterday, so I had decided to make my iPod Touch redemption first and pass to Panda Foo first, saw his NEW gf! This time round, I took my revenge on him! He should know what has happened, shouldn't reveal too much here. HEHEHE! Shortly after, sis called me to check out a handbag from BONIA that my aunt wanted to buy, as there is this limited edition model for sale which is sold out like almost everywhere in town. After much chatting with my aunt and confirmed the model, I realized that piece is the 2nd last piece. Woot!

Had lunch with Ling(Porky)! We had something simple for lunch and walked around after that. Settled down at Starhub to slack for awhile before deciding to leave that area and returned to Wisma when we saw the dark clouds forming up. Smart ppl like us(preemptive measure)! =P Later, she seems to see her friends one after another. HAHA!

Upon reaching tanan merah mrt, I was suppose to do some mailing for Ling, but I really forgotten to do! When she told(cursed) me earlier that I will definitely forget to mail for her! HAHAHA!

All of us sat down together and watched Movie 881, I have been wanting to watch this movie for so long! Indeed a nice and hilarious typical local movie, Hokkien people will enjoy it to the max! It's rather touching towards the last part, and not forgetting there are several nice songs in the movie. Got to wait for my uncle to buy the CD, then I borrow from him!

Just slightly passed midnight, I have problems sending out my SMSes already, kept getting the sending failure messages. It only went through around 0030hrs. ZZZZZZ! So sian! But at the least, it is within the first hour okayz!

It's Xmas Eve Tomorrow!

Sister dragged me out with her this morning, introduced to me a new friend which is so lively at kinda cute & funny chap at his age. We went around central to look for a good deal piano/keyboard, due to budget constraints, he ended up buying an average beginner set which cost $699 after xmas discount. Look pretty decent but we still feel that the $1500 set looks better. But this set is good enough for a beginner already, he will get a better one next time. This guy looks like Chang Ru Feng Jerry, an ex-mediacorp artiste who acted in the Legend of the 8 Immortals. Pretty jovial guy which resembles myself. Hee! Then later found out that he is into music publishing and his good friend is Jim, one of the guy from Dreamz FM (Meng Fei Chuan), you should know who is he if you had watched the Campus Superstars Season 2, he is the round round guy aka the 1st judge.

Just reached home not long ago, went walking around suntec and marina square with sis, in the end I didn't get anything for myself as most of the designs that I wanted ran out of Medium size. Damn disappointed! Went to eat at Carls Jrs, and later went down to Dunman Food Centre for proper dinner. I'm gonna introduce this Wanton Mee Stall to Porky! The chilli is damn spicy! I was told not to mix the entire portion given at the side of the plate, but the little bit of it already spice me up to max! I can feel the burning inside my stomach and slowly out from my nostrils and finally my eyes. Damn cool and power I would to say, for someone who seldom take spicy food. Apart from the spice, the noodle is very different from what I had eaten all these while, very unique and springy! There are 2 stalls over there, so hunt for Eng's Stall! Though i heard the other stall is also quite popular as well.

I am sleepy sleepy sleepy... time to sleep. Tomorrow gonna be a busy day. Christmas gathering with auntie tomorrow night. Eat Eat n Eat! Countdown and follow by gift exchange! :P Partying!!!!

Now it's time for me to say goodbye to my master aka jedi. 我下山了! Finally, started packing up my things from my pedestal like Ling had done it weeks ago. Can really feel the danger out there (Enterprise) and the most unbearable feeling was I had to carry so many things back home. Now I understood why she complained back then. As usual, being an emotional guy, tend to have some feelings with the office and how 'slack' they used to comment about me in office. Can still remember the first month when all of us were in the office, working hard+chatting+lunch+etc. And now, all of us are being placed to different accounts which is the reason why all of us were here for. Kinda saddening though, but I know I will return probably around Jan 3 & 4 as we have some briefing session for my overseas trip. Wee! Not forgetting the snacks I put at the Admin area. HEE. jkjk! The snacks are meant for them.

Yesterday I had my dinner at PSA Building which is around 10mins walk from my office. It looked pretty deserted the moment I reached the place. Logically, the first thing came to my mind is who the hell will come here for dinner, as everyone can't wait to leave the office as soon as they can! You can imagine around 7pm, the whole restaurant was only occupied by us, which is only 1 table. LOL~! Food there was quite reasonable and their service was really fast cos there were only around 6 tables dining in the restaurant. HEE! Probably weekends we gotta wait much longer.

OFFICE

Heard from Ling that she gotta work from 3pm to 2359 tomorrow. Sounds so sianz and indeed it is cos it is damn SATURDAY today! Not sure if today can claim as off or not? I can see the lethargic in her eyes! She look really jaded to me. Hai.... We are just cheap labours! Grr.... Hope everything go smoothly and she can leave her office as soon as possible. Hang on ger! Let's endure this period together! Though I will be like you very soon, or rather like Myo! LOL. Maybe I can slim down more! =S

Heard from Mel that Myo actually still working around 9pm while I was having my dinner, suddenly felt abit shattered but luckily I realized it's becos he need to rush 17 servers to be up by tonight. Though he left around 11pm, he told me not to worry. But i will still preempt myself a little. Things are really different compared to main office. Just hope places can be as good as my Poly attachment, with nice people. But i doubt! LOL

Singnet Customer!

I am so happy that my set up works! Reached home around 12+ last night, had a small problem as in why my lappie can access the internet through my router, called Dan for help but in the end we both gave up. Has decided to call up Singnet helpdesk this morning. We MUST make full use of their service else they will be out of job, isn't it? :P

Apparently, the thing that we have overlooked was the DNS address... Whereby this word sounds so familiar to me. I should have know this problem long ago. But even if I know its the problem, the ultimate move is still to call them up. Cos I do not have the IP address as well. HEHEHE.

What matters most is I can access INTERNET now! COOL... The moment I load my blog, can see the speed really pumping up within seconds, I'm referring to my imeem music loading bar, when I was using MOL last time, it crawls! And yet I'm paying so much more every month and get CONNED (porky will have something to say again!) .... Humph! Currently, I am using 3Mbps compared to my premium plan which is 6.5Mbps last time. See the difference!

We enjoyed the food yesterday, jerem (Dan's bro) almost vomited in the toilet. LOL! That sounds really funny when he used to be someone who can clean up the whole table. HEHE! Can see that he really slimmed down a fair lot. Shall upload those stupid pics later when i finish packing up the mess I have done last time while trying to set up the connection. My bed is in a MESS! HELP HELP HELP!! Porky Get ya ass here and help out! =)

Last day of my internet access

Finally, I'm saying bye bye to my starhub MOL plan after subscribing it for 2 years. Relatively, it has serve me well but just that the transferring speed between singnet and mine has been pretty slow. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with the service. Gotta welcome Singnet plan on 19th Dec, hopefully i can try to set up the modem and stuff tomorrow night when i return from my bro birthday dinner. So let's hope i can settle it asap, else I won't be online anytime starting from now. I think i better post this entry first before my internet gets cut off in anytime now. HEE!

Tomorrow will be meeting my manager to have a detailed and instructions on what he has installed for me with regards to my placement next Monday, when everybody else is clearing their shutdown leave next week. Hmph! Friday will have to get our hands dirty to reshuffle the servers in the racks. Actually, I am rather looking forward to it as this will be a good experience for me to still "play around" in a lab environment before moving on to the real world.

Porky hurt her fatty forehead after work today, clumsy ger, but alittle poor thing... hehe. I bet it should be blue-blacked by now.. =) Hope she is fine now or probably by tomorrow..
