Perfect Stranger
Went to catch this movie after my meeting yesterday. Initially, the scene were quite boring, dull and not exciting. I almost fall asleep somehow. :P But the excitment came up around the mid part. The overall plot of this movie was quite good. I was so confused pondering who is the real murderer despite exposing some hints. Guess everyone inside the cinema must be suspecting Bruce Willis originally, until we caught hold of the right-hand techical guru. Everything is kinda kept in suspense and anticipation. None of the suspects was the real murderer. Its only towards the last few minutes of the show, they then released the truth. Too much vugarity though, was quite shocked too. hee..

Hooray!
Out of a sudden, i saw my msn email pop up, email from marilyn... for those who dunno her, she is my course coordinator. I am thinking how the hell did she get hold of my personal email address, something must be amiss. Quickly, i clicked on it!
TADA!!! this is what i just saw...
Hi Thomas, Your appeal for CSCI214-examination has been accepted and your marks/grades have been changed to 70marks - Credit in SOLS. Comments on your appeal from the UOW lecturer. A change of marks has occurred for this student. Please note that the grade has changed to 70 (credit) due to an error by lecturer in calculating this students marks. The change of grade will be reflected in the students record by tomorrow afternoon.

Facts or Fictions
Was listening to my brother yesterday that he mentioned about what his friend has seen few days back. Ever imagine when you sneeze with your nose pressed, trying hard to surpress the pressure, in fact something bad may happen to you. His friend actually witnessed a scene whereby the person eyes got popped out from her head. After listening to his bullshit, I have decided to find my good friend once again, google aka the grid computing!
Why is it absolutely impossible to sneeze with your eyes open?
One of the classic Odd Body Questions is why can’t I sneeze without closing my eyes. This question was answered in my first book, The Odd Body. The medical term for a sneeze is the “sternutatory reflex”. Almost all animals sneeze. A sneeze helps clear the nose and sinus regions while injecting oxygen into the cells of the body. A sniff does much the same thing. Nevertheless, a sneeze is a very complicated body action. Technically, a sneeze is produced when an irritant contacts the nasal mucosa, which in turn stimulates the trigeminal nerve, which in turn stimulates the pons and medullai of the brain, which in turn sets off additional nerve reactions, and so on. During a sneeze, tremendous stress is placed on the body. Considerable air pressure is place upon the eyes. This pressure is not enough to pop your eyes out of your head or even make them bulge out, but enough to make your eyes feel uncomfortable from the added pressure. According to Dr. G.H. Drumheller of the International Rhinologic Society in Milan, we close our eyes when we sneeze in order to keep the eyes from “extruding”.

oh yeah.. saw this while i did the above research. Someone did told me before that acne is caused by improper hygiene. Well, now i finally know its not true. :P
Fiction: Acne is caused is caused by improper hygiene
While it is true that acne is caused by blocked pores, better hygiene cannot prevent acne. All of the scrubbing in the world cannot unblock or prevent the blocking of pores, because the blockage is well below the surface of the skin.
Countdown... 48 days left.... mooo~~~~

Knocked out totally
Had a project group meeting yesterday, bathe and took my dinner upon reaching home. After less than an hour, I got knocked out totally and slept all my way through till this morning, this is how tired I'm. But the feeling is great after drinking some bourbon coke. :P
Oh yeah, I have just realised my uni actually awards student with Bachelor Degree and Bachelor Degree with Distinction. Sounds cool with the last word attached to your certificate i guess. Hee.. but sad to say, its all because of my last semester results that brought my average down by around 2 marks, hence i am left with 70.6% average now. :( Not sure if I have any chance at all to secure an average marks of 75%, but it sounds rather ridiculous if I am able to get that. HAHAHAHA!!!
For now, I have actually understand the people working with you in schoolwork, they can appear to be nice to you but on the other hand being a hypocrite, sometimes its really stupid playing a nice guy role for helping others, probably this is my character, soft-hearted (心太软) :S
Whatever it is, I will still work hard for my fyp and get myself out of this boring place. Another 52 days left... thanks for counting down with me. love ya!!
