After slacking for such a long period, finally I'm stepping out to the society to work!
Everything seems normal, nothing negative happened today.
FYP results was released this morning around 10am. Got some sms from dan and peers, but I was unable to check as my laptop was not ready yet. After I got hold of my spare laptop which I will be using for the time being, i hooked up to the network and checked my results. Despite knowing I'm only getting a Distinction grade, just want to know the actual marks that I'd be getting. It turned out to be 81. Hai. Life is never fair most of the time, but just got to live with it.
Probably another appeal is on the way. :P
Met up with my nyp mate who is working at the same company, so nice that he walked over from his building and look for me, and we went to lunch together. It's really great when you have friends! But time crawls after my lunch, so painful fighting with Z mob. High level mob! Almost fell asleep while surfing internet as my manager went out for business lunch, i was left alone with a stupid laptop.
Just a few hours before knock off, my manager helped me out to configure my laptop in order to hook onto their domain and setup my account, email and so on. Took pretty long to update all the stupid Hotfixes and updates. Eventually, I left the office at around 6pm. :P
Actually, there are a bunch of us there which i heard we are all graduates hire. So most likely we will be going through this "lab" session together around the cubicles testing out some training stuff.
Carried the laptop back home, cos my manager will start work at a later time, don't intend to lock it in his drawer, else I will be idling again tomorrow. Hee. I still do not have a fixed desk yet as all of us will be shifting to another building sometime this month, so I'm currently using a spare laptop and temp desk. =)
Oh yeah! My cheque book has arrived! Cool! But the account got no money. LOL~
