Was figuring on how to connect my laptop to the chalet TV but in vain. Although i brought my Video connector to the yellow cable. Not sure why it cant work. Could it be my Vista again? Hope not... tomorrow night i shall try again. :P

Other than doing F5 on those job agencies website, things that i do these days are watching VCD...

Just started watching Heroes Season 1 first esp just now. LOL.

Its chalet tomorrow... checking in the evening i think. So i will be MIA for this weekend. HAHA..

Oh yeah, going for another interview next week. Just trying out as its introduced by my frend.

And I dunno why my Vista isnt working problem with my MSN. After doing the patch, i still having unconsistency with the MSN - Display songs feature. DAMN!

Interviews....

The weather is unbearable!!! Can the globe just explode once and for all, stop torturing us! Been sweating like a dog today, travelling under the hot sun trying to locate the companies.

The interviews today were quite informative to me. Although the first one was kinda flopped, but i got more information on what the employer expectations for fresh grads like us. The second one was quite nice, went to SGX building, the office and the environment inside is so nice. Can see traders and the way they do trading electronically. Really looking forward for that job there but too bad their big boss not around, gotta wait for him to return before replying me an answer. They told me i would be starting work at december if i am employed. Nevertheless, i will still continue my journey of job hunting, they did tell me to go ahead if i have better jobs on hand. Pretty nice people over there and their IT support staffs arent alot too. :D

Just came back from Sushi buffet, so full now!!! Whack whack whack Only~ :P

And finally its time for me to revert my lappie back to Vista, had promised myself to do so the moment i finished my FYP. Spent some time doing some window updates, software installation. Norton.. bla bla bla.. now I am left with Office package. Guess i will do it tomorrow. The speed of the OS is still pretty slow to my expectations, guess the optimum ram would be at least 2GB.

Makan Feast Today...

Made an impromptus decision and Finally we have decided to dine at Dragongate restaurant located at Harbourfront Centre today. Jul was late so the 3 of us made our way there first.

We were so blur and walked all the way to VIVO city and started taking a lift to level 4, but then we only realised there isnt any button for that level. Damn 1! We slowly made our way to the Harbourfront Centre from the linkage at level 1. Reached level 1 and located the directory board, happily verifying that Dragongate is there. We walked to one of the lift lobby label B and took a lift to level 4. After we came out from it, there was nothing! Only link to a carpark! Damn 2! Feeling tired, we finally made our way to the restaurant, we then realised again that the previous carpark was linked to here. Damn 3! Not long after, jul reached too. LOL!

Personally, the food there were just average, maybe we reached there quite late, didnt really enjoy the food at ease.

After meal, we visited arcade, anime shop and pet safari. Nice pet shop, with some nice breed of dogs there, Siberian Husky was sleepy back then. Hamsters! And even grooming services. I was quite shocked to know even dogs can have their hairs coloured! Cool manz!

With all the IT people together, the rest of the shops we visited were all Electronics Appliances related. Went to this Samsung shop and spent almost an hour there playing the XBOX! LOL.

Lastly, we chiiled out at the Gloria Coffee House. We had a long chat over there. Really enjoyed the slow pace of life again after having such a hectic lifestyle in school all these while. More to come man! :D

Supposedly to meet edwin for KTV session today, but the time when he called me was pretty late, so we had decided to meet another day. It has been our normal routine back in poly days to celebrate at KTV after every semester project, but now its our Uni Final Year Project!

I will be having 2 interviews tomorrow, better get all my documents ready first, kinda last minute. Haha! I gotta switch myself to the working world, and i really can feel the responsibility now. Am i growing up again? LOL... Hope i can find a job i really like, tomorrow i shall just go there and "look look hear hear" first! Hee... As i always feel that "Good things dont come so easily else you wont treasure it." Same applies to my GF! hahahaha... :P

Feeling Bored...

Wondered where all my EX-grpmates went to.... Didn't see anyone of them online today. Waiting for the last file since morning... then i can carry on with my CD burning... writing all the fyp data to CD. Argh!!! I wanna use my vista back!!!

baitu got 80 for his FYP... so happy for him despite being a free loader in his group. I'm very SURE he doesn't read my blog. LOL~ okie la.. he actually did helped his team to clinch a back Distinction grade from Credit.

Had a good sleep this afternoon, finally i don't sleep with my mind thinking about studies anymore. But probably i will think about work work work in the near future. Life sucks!

Just realised Underdogs was out few days back, I'm gonna watch it manz!! Probably this tuesday when we go for our celebration feast with my group. See how it goes...

Job hunting will resume tomorrow... Now my time schedule is like a jobless person. LOL~

While reading my own blog just now, just realised i have actually blog almost everyday despite having such a packed schedule while handling my final presentation. My time management is really good i must say! :P

WOOT!!!!! I AM FREE...........

No more school for me... I have graduated!!!! Another new phase of my life....

Right now, i shall spend some time doing some housekeeping on my lappie(fark balls... dunno why my lappie/thumbdrive gotten trojan out of nowhere today), sending out more CV, resting, formatting my lappie, coming week chalet... so on and so forth... oh man!!! so many things need to be done.... shagged~

Oh yeah nearly forgotten, today's presentation was a good one, everything went smoothly for our system, just that we got bombarded some funny questions from the assessor, though we kinda anticipated those questions. In overall, we are quite happy with our performance today! Our supervisor was quite happy with our performance today too and he had actually sent us his congrats after assessing the last group.

Nevertheless, i would like to thank my groupmates again here, really happy working together with them. What a memorable journey in my undergraduate life. Feeling happy and at the same time sad too. HAHA.. Contradicting ya? Humans are all like that!

I NEEDA SLEEP + REST + SLEEP + REST..........

p/s: saw someone using iPhone today, he was just sitting a table next to us, damn solid phone manz.. cant wait to see the official launch in singapore, although alot of exporting has been going on this while.

What a nonconstructive day in school today!

Yet Another Tremor hit Singapore!

It all happened at around 7am this morning, while I was having my sweet dream and then i felt that i was on a rocking chair... Eventually, i woke up.. i felt my bed was shaking for 10 seconds before it went away...

Job Searching advise... Earthquake again?

I was watching the news a while ago, news reported about job search for recent graduates from the local university. Most of the better off companies are mainly the foreign banks and local banks. Information gathered from the graduates regarding their first job, the top 3 concerns are as follows(according to priority):

1) Long-term : prospects and upgrading of skills
2) how company/employer value their staff
3) salary & benefits

Expected Salary falls between $2300 to $2800

Local graduates have sounded out that their interests are mainly the bank and finance sector, and they also hope that by the 2nd year, they will have a promotion. :P Sounds cool!

Surprisingly, my group was actually chatting about this issue today, jul was telling us on what Warren Buffet has mentioned. Hope i didnt get the facts wrong. He was saying that we must first have 2 things first or else we will never succeed in life. They are your passion and interest of what you want, and then you will strive hard for it. If you do not have the following things, then it would be hard for one to succeed in life. So its the same when getting a job, for me, i dont mind getting a lower paid job but as long as i can learn from it, with good prospect and i like the kind of job, i would be satified enough. :D

Is there an earthquake just now? Woohoo! Luckily i didnt feel the shake just now, heard it happened around 7.15pm, i guess i was on the bus, on my way home then... :P Cant forget the shake from the last one. damn giddy manz! lol

One step nearer for my FYP..

Boo! I have just finished updating my FYP Blog... its really sickening to update both blog at the same time of the day, its like doing double work kinda job, but with different content altogether.

My fyp last night session goes like this.....

WeeeE... its getting nearer!! Finished my 2nd Demo with my assessor.. Apparently, those earlier groups people actually drag on their presentation time from 15mins to 30mins. Darn! Ultimately, our official meeting time shifted from 8.30 to 9.30pm... Apart from this, We were being chased out of the Student Lounge as it closes at 9.45pm. But fortunately, our session ended right before we got evicted. :P Cool!

*ps: I wouldnt be surprise if our final presentation time is gonna drag like this again. :(

Reached home damn late yesterday after waiting for dan, but is okay anyway. COS HE IS MY COUSIN! :P some things cropped up on his macbook, the connection kinda got haywired so in the end he borrowed my lappie instead. wat a day! he is damn pissed over it though. On our way home, we were complaining with his group members and myself over this project. haha. Another 13 more days, HANG ON!

Got some comments from our "Loctor".... gotta prepare lot of things for the final presentation which i hope my team could finish it all on time.

Oh yeah.. Why did i wake up so early today! DAMMIT! *its raining now though... :S

Its Demo 2 tomorrow!

Gonna have a long day tomorrow, shouldnt be blogging today as its too tired for me to even look at the lappie screen these days, as i have been facing it all day long if i'm in sch. Hence, i have promised myself to log off at 11pm sharp tonight, gonna reached school tomorrow morning to wrap up the project for our Demo 2 in the evening.

Apple has introduced their new models of iPod nano, iTouch and their shuffles. iPhones and the new iMac should be out in the near future. Gotta wait for their iPhone to be released in singapore first. Personally, I wouldnt get the new nano and iTouch if you really did ya sum when comparing the specs.

Finally, tomorrow is my Demo 2.. meaning to say, i am reaching my final presentation very soon! Weeeee......

Oh yeah... till now, have watched several movies already, haha... Ratatouille, Dead Silence, 1408 and Evan Almighty. Among all, the rat show is the best i guess! Upcoming show would be Underdogs! :)

Manz.. guess i will be damn busy starting from next week all the way till my final presentation is over. I must really give myself a Treat after everything is over. HEEHEE...

Shall stop here tonight, spend my time doing other precious things before i gets tired and sleep! :P

Sickening SMSes

Been receiving tonnes of EPL smses during the weekends, Gotta remind myself to call ST up soon. Just imagine you get a single sms for updates like scorer, yellow/red cards, HT and FT scores. The worse is there are more than one match every weekends. OH man!!! You can see 20+ unread sms the next day morning and my hp battery got drained up so easily every weekends. :(

Today is the last day of COMEX, didnt get a chance to go down this week. Probably cos I have nothing much to buy there, which means i will ending my student life real soon. Yippie! hehe.....
