Didn't do much things today other than trying to fix this stupid networking problem between XP and Vista. Google on file sharing and realised it gotta do with Vista IPv6 recognition which clashes with IPv4 at the data link layer. Despite removing IPv6, rebooting my lappie, my XP desktop still have problem identifying my Vista workstation. Shucks! Only can pushed from Vista side. Bill, WTF! lol

Time really flies.... I've only 1 more day to rest before my career phase begins. But then I'm not really resting tomorrow, would be heading over to dan's place for kimchi making. Wanted to learn it for some time, finally tomorrow is the day!

My course coordinator finally emailed us the graduation application form for us to fill up, gotta reply before november 15. Still got a long way to go, but i will try to get it settle once and for all, i got a short term memory ya. :S We shall do it tomorrow at dan's place.

Had a few hours of nap this afternoon and woke up at around 6pm. Fortunately I woke up on time, still managed to make it on time for a haircut and collect my tailored pants. The funniest thing is that I got to know the auntie who made my pants is my friend's mommy. LOL. So most likely the next trip I may get a discount. Wee!

Out of the blue today, I went around asking my friends about some places for chilling out and drinking. As my friends all know I hate clubbing or rather not a clubber. Thanks to angela, dan and nat, got to know of some places which i have consolidated a list below:

Coming to an end..

Haven't been blogging frequently lately...

Yeppie! It's a good sign, which means I am busy with my life. :) Actually, I have finished watching the drama, satisfaction to accomplish 60 episodes in few days. A very good storyline and I think its a good way for GEELY to promote their cars. Quite surprised that they have actually setup a university in Beijing to specialise in car motors engineering. Should I further my Masters programme there? LOL...

Accompanied dan out for interviews today, saw perry and met up with ling at the same time. Pretty coincidence. Had a long day in town, walked around Taka while waiting for dan to finish his stuff at the agency.

Dropped by AMK Hub, hence headed to Citibank to enquire for more information on my Credit card. But I didn't bring my letter of appointment, hence i told the officer i will come down again. She say my company very "BIG", so shouldn't be a problem applying despite I have not even started work. And apparently, I did not apply for my credit card today, but I have opened a credit saving account with Citibank instead. Cos they were having this zero dollar account promotion, after hearing those basic and step up interest, decided to open an account with them, it's pretty attractive as it adds up to 2% interests; with free debit card and free cheque book for unlimited period. :P

Had GENKI for dinner at Tampines Mall together with dan and some other peepz. The food there has always been solid. Yummy! After dinner, it was around 9.15pm. Only then I remembered that I needa get a belt for myself. Luckily the shop hasn't close, so I just grab one with a simple plain buckler and headed to the counter for payment, but so happened that the machine at the cashier hang, think it's due to internet. Got stuck there for awhile :(

What a day...

The things that I've been doing these days. Watching Drive of Life... Around 15 episodes left.

As for today, Went to the temple in the afternoon and had a high tea session at Marriott Hotel. My sis and the rest went for massage/spa for relaxation, but I decided not to join them as I'm feeling rather tired and feel like coming home first.

On our way back, the cab that we took just turned out from Marriott Hotel and met an accident at the yellow box area. Pretty cool when the garbage truck just rammed its way in. CRACK! CRACK! were heard and next followed by the cabbie uncle. #$%$@#$%#. LOL.

Walked around at amk hub and took a bus back, saw this crazy guy in the bus. Didn't know something was not right with his mind until I realised passengers sitting in front of me kept disappearing one by one. LOL. Cos I'm sitting right at the back of the bus.

So good day or bad day for me? :P Anyway, drama continues....

Another day..

Finally, I've tailor make my pants today. Gotta make 3 pairs at a go but it's really much cheaper than those ready-made selling outside departmental stores. One good thing is I can get a customised cuttings that fits me enirely. But have yet to see the quality, so I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Wish me luck ya! Hee =)

The show is getting more and more interesting, the storyline is pretty nice. But I'm thinking whether this show is really related to the China Brand Car Company today.

Current marathon still have 34 episodes more to go. Weee.

I was too busy to update my blog yesterday, currently watching 岁月风云(Drive of Life). Still have about 48 episodes, way to go before November starts. Hee.

Yeah I'm still waiting, waiting for what? Was chatting with my peers awhile ago, and just heard from them that my Associate Prof is still looking through our FYP project as he told my friend's group that their project cant run. Which i need to say, our results should be out real soon right? Hopefully....

Its still raining outside, nice weather to sleep, though i aint feeling tired at all but i will still try to force myself to sleep probably after this entry.

Actually this entry is back tracked cos I don't want to use up the date for tomorrow. This isn' my first time doing it. Hee. Actual Time is 1.30am, so if u notices those entries timed at 11.59pm at the particular night, its a very high chance that I've back tracked the time for that day. Moo! I'm still waiting for my hair to dry, hate using the hair dryer.

Nothing much to blog about these days, probably I'm just waiting for the day to come, 9 more days to be exact. Most likely, I will be online very often in days to come. It would be pretty bad as I will lost touch to the outside world without internet access! Really hope I won't lose the drive of turning on my laptop in my near future.

Sometimes I feel that a blog other than writing diaries, it's also a good way of keeping/storing your photographs, imagine you can look back to those archives after your hdd got corrupted, provided that you aren't those people who literally store their photographs online on some servers. For me, I don't. But this doesn't mean I'm not fit to be an IT guy okie! :P

Feast at Long Beach

Returned home at around 2am, went to bed after bathing. Guessed i drank too much alcohol(wine + Chivas 21). My uncle passed me the whole bottle of white wine for our table. In the end, I kinda finished almost half bottle of it as I was put in charge. So next time don't ever pass me alcohol again alright? It was Nicholas(cousin) grandpa birthday yesterday + flying back to Australia next week, hence my uncle decided to give a treat at Long Beach restaurant. First time dining there which i thought its just another restaurant by Cheng Huat. LOL. But i was wrong, the food there are solid! Damn crowded and yet their service was fast. Walked over to their "aquariums" to have a look at the live seafood. At least now I know that Alaskan crab has a small pincer and 3 super long legs on each side. I can see all the unhappy and sad faces on them too. :P

Its friday again....

Oh man.. so fast... It's Friday again.....

Life is getting more and more boring each day. Wake up turn on the laptop and rot away with a few clowns online, chatting on msn and grumbling away as usual. But today was alittle different, we chatted more about BGR stuffs, really enjoyed the talk as we get to know each other more and deeper, still remember I always chat about such things back in army days. Hee...

Not the least, I did something today, formatted my desktop this morning as my bro keep complaining about the speed of the PC. No choice and so I gotta do the dirty job, had a slight problem connecting to the Internet with the linksys adaptor, but still manage to get it fixed. Things that people hated most are the installation of drivers and software/firmware updates. It takes a hundred years to complete. :(

Again... what a heavy rain today which lasted for a couple of hours, seems like the weather is turning cold already. :) Preparation for Christmas i guess.

Will be having a dinner with my aunts tomorrow, its held at Long Beach MAIN Seafood Restaurant. They wanna go there specially for their Alaskan Crabs, first time trying it and I strongly believe that they are really tasty, so excited man! And I'm thinking of getting the shell back, but can i? Hmph! Hopefully i can snap some pics tomorrow.

HP: Letter of Appointment

In Conjuction with my 1 year ORD Anniversary... Still remember i have something to say for tonight's post? Yup.. its what the title depicts....

Went down to HP at Alexandra Point once again, finally decided to work for HP. Spent some time inside the discussion room reading those documents, feeling so lost, called up baitu to get his advise. LOL.

Date of hire is 1st Nov, but i will have an orientation on the following monday which is 5th Nov. This orientation should be something to do with the insurance benefits and some other admin matters like photograph taking for the smartcard. Actually, the timing was just nice, reason being to arrange me to start work on 1st Nov is because that where their new FY starts, meaning to say I can get the full aws! Yippie..

Benefits are quite standard.... can buy company shares at discounted rates.. cool!

After that, took 175 to Orchard Point, on my way to town, I realised that singapore is real small, it passes by my DXO condo at Gillman Heights, then to where xinyan is working(CMPB), then later passed by my poly attachment workplace than to town. Pretty cool .... can see so many familiar places at a go.

Intended to meet my sis around 7pm, spent the couple of hours walking around town alone, rotted at arcade eventually at PS. Oh yah, saw this coffin lying around Golden Village at level 7, took a pic of it. LOL. Where the curry chicken? HAHAHA!!!

1 year Anniversary

Yup yup... It's been 1 year since i got out from the army, tomorrow will be exactly my ORD 1 year anniversary. I always remember this day as it has been the day which every nsf will be looking forward to.[right Ben?] Not forgetting to mention it's [白兔/baitu]'s 1 year anniversary today! We had been through shit since poly till now. Told you all I'm a faithful, sentimental, emotional and romantic...etc GUY, not like someone[白兔] who told me he don't feel a thing for this day. LOL~

Time really flies. I can still remember the time where i just started my undergraduate course. Sitting in the lecture room listening to entropy and probability. LOL. And now I'm already looking for a job. :D

Tomorrow will have another thing happening as well, i shall leave it till tomorrow night. Everyone is so busy with their work, only minority of us are idling around, wasting our time. :(

My favourite band during my secondary days. Other than Scott, the other 3 with Bob and Clint being identical twins while Dave is a fraternal triplet. The triplet were born on the same date as ME! HEHEHEHE! And Clint full name is Clinton Thomas John Moffatt. :P

After i heard their song "I Miss You Like Crazy", shortly after I was in love with The Moffatts.

Supposedly, I have a 1-day job from my buddy tomorrow, but last minute I couldn't make it, but luckily I found a replacement. So much wanted to visit the zoo, thinking this is a rare chance for me to get paid and visit at the same time. :( I wanna see the Orangutan!!!!!!

What a day...

Had a fun time at The Forum today...

Took a bus down to town which i thought its the easiest way out, but god knows when we board the bus, it started pouring. Pretty cooling in the bus though, but the ride took us almost an hour. LOL. Dan was complaining. :(

The rain did not stop at all, luckily i rang ong up to save us. HEE! Thks dude! The interview was quite enjoyable, the easiest of all, just the normal feeling as talking to a friend. LOL. Actually, i brought 3 of them to this company cos i feel that the environment here is great.

The boss was pretty stressed up and lost, cos the room went quiet after a short while, he got no idea on what to ask me and got me to leave the room first before calling me in again. LOL. Will i have the same emotion like him when my wife give birth to a son next time? *dream dream dream.........

Another boring day

So bored... Another week coming to an end...

Tomorrow will be having an interview at this company whom i have known for some time. Its a company doing simulation software development for govt and private sector as well. Got to know them during my army days.

Guess tomorrow interview won't be a formal one to me as i knew the people there for so long, but I'll be bringing some friends down, just hope they don't blast out loud when they talk to the boss. :P Shall not elaborate further here..

Life is so unpredictable, you can really meet lot of people in this world, some with high EQ like myself and some without... which is quite sad when you are forced to work with them. But this is life, we can't choose it so we can only accept it unwillingly. This issue actually happened to several friends currently, really hope they can make it through, endure should be the appropriate word to use over here. All i can do is to wish them good luck, hope things do turn out fine soon.

Feeling vexed myself, most of the time we humans are really contradicting animals, this doesn't applies to women, men are like that too! Take myself for instance, it really feel so lost even when a job is offered to me, its like you will start to think if this choice is the right one, and you will keep thinking and thinking... oh man! GREED! PASSION! DESIRE!

Hope i can have a nice sleep tonight, slept the whole afternoon today. :S Help!!

I've finished the whole series of drama, storyline quite nice and not a bad ending after all. Spent the whole day watching the remaining episodes. HAHA.....

Gotta check with baitu what the next series to watch. Tomorrow is Sunday! Another week is coming to an end. Time really flies...

Friday Again!

What a cooling weather today! So nice, been raining intermittently for the day, is this a sign telling us that the hot season is ending soon, welcoming the raining season! WooHoo!!

Alright, just returned from my 2 interviews today, pretty confident at it, or rather i'm kinda immunised to interviews now. I'm like trying to help the interviewer to talk lesser, as i felt that his interpersonal skills isn't that great after all. Not being snobbish myself, but they really sucks. LOL. It's really great to gain exposure to all this interviews, lot of experiences gained and you will feel that you've gain extra knowledge each time.

The 2nd interview was somewhere near Apple Computers, initially the HR Consultant told me its inside the latter, but in the end it turned out to be behind it. Darn! After the interview, walked out of the industry area, passed by NCS Hub, SSDC and lastly, NYP back gate. Been so long... haha! Guess if i weep? The answer is NO! lol

Some of my peers are going to start work next Monday, really wish them all the best for securing a job and hopefully doing things that interest them as well. For me, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed, and i always believe god is fair to us sometimes. Just hope i can secure my first job asap, as it's always important to land yourself somewhere good as that is your stepping stone.

WHEN WILL UOW CONFIRM OUR LAST MODULE GRADE AND SEND IT BACK TO SIM FOR OUR PERUSAL!!! I REALLY NEED IT URGENTLY MANZ!!!!

Back to my drama marathon tonight i guess, 20 episodes more to go, feel that the story is starting to drag, the story began to slow down a little. But since i have started it, then i should finish it. :D I believe it is still a nice show!

Oh yeah!! Nearly forgotten.... One thing i gotta rant my anger and vent my frustrations at... Which is VISTA SUCKS!!!! Can you imagine your Web Browser can suddenly tells you Not Responding and shutdown at its own and then return you with a fresh clean Browser, with all your existing web pages all GONE... ARGHHHH.... Thanks... feeling much better now! =)

We had a Yong-Tau-Foo feast today, why ? Patronized the shop at Outram temp market and Chinatown market for their famous delight. Both equally long queue and crowded, but we still felt that the one at chinatown tasted better. :)

Called up tien min and realised he was just around the premise, caught up with him for lunch before we headed to chinatown KTV.

My new card! $5 which assured me for 5 years... Can't i just have 1 year membership that's all?

5 solid hours of KTV session... Damn shiok!

Baitu supposed to meet us as well, but got summoned back by his mum the very last minute. :( Missed his sexy voice man.

Called up for an interview on friday, see how it goes... if not, maybe i should just be less obstinate and join the software category. At the least, Dar won't laugh at me after a month or so.... YAH IT'S U DARENCE!

But seriously, is first pay more important or interests weighs more to me now? But to think it over again, how should i conclude what my interests is/are? Or finding a job ASAP is more important to me right now? OH MAN! SO VEX! I needa counsellor

It's been some time, our final year project result isn't out yet, hope it will be ready soon, at least we won't have any barrier when filling up those stupid forms and anwering questions during our interviews. After marilyn left us as course coordinator, those 2 newbies just not helping us out, sent them a couple of mails asking but no acknowledgement. :( At the least, they should tell us when is our official graduation date!, isnt it?

Escape + BBQ Gathering...

Just woke up... lol

Had an enjoyable day yesterday at the Escape Theme Park, it has been a long time since i last visited, can still remember the first time my aunt brought me there, i was like so excited over it. :P All the memories came flowing back when i step into the place yesterday, but pretty sad to realize some of the stations are not available. Apparently, majority of the stations that we wanted to play are still available. Lucky!!!

We managed to play 3 stations due to the long queue at the Daytona Go-Kart... My favourite station! ZOOM-ZOOM!! I didn't even bother to step on the brake pedal. Cos the one that I'm driving on cant even overtake at all. Moo.. *=__= Next, we tried the Wet&Wild... Cool!!! So nice and REALLY enjoyable for us but i wish it could have been longer. Though we were both quite wet, but its really worth it. Hee. Last station was the Invertor, damn fun and its not that scary anymore compared to the first time i played. I'm getting old already i know... Argh! But we played 2 rounds consecutively. :P

Actually, there is another station i wanted to play, its called Rainbow. But can't seems to find it yesterday. Anyway, just hope my sister can get her chalet next month, then i can have tixs again. HAHA!!!

Back to the story...

Went over to Whitesands to do some last minute shopping before heading to the pit. When the bus was reaching the park, saw those big bungalows there, which also reminds me of the days we had our chalet there, so big!!! I missed the private Mahjong room there(with washroom). :P~~~ Didnt really change much there, probably some minor renovations.

So happy when the bus was reaching the park, really love going to the beach and especially during the sunset scenes, too bad there isn't any yesterday, cos we were at pasir ris! LOL. Took a slow walk myself... how good it is, if life can just take a pause for awhile sometimes, our life is just too hectic already, especially in singapore. Hopefully, i don't have to walk alone next time. =P

Hmm.. BBQ session was as usual, nothing much to shout about, maybe i just had one last week, so not really very excited over it. :P But i am not feeling sian, maybe just tired... so dun worry k!! :) *Really appreciate ya concern* Erm.. Let me see wat pics i should upload for this entry, resolution arent that good though its a 3.2MP. Should i invest in a camera? Erm.. wait till i find a job first la! Haha.. Really like taking pictures. Gotta ask my cousin for some advise. =D

VCD Marathon + Good Rest

Hmm.. Didn't turn on my lappie last night.. Feeling so tired to even stare at the monitor. Kinda understand why those friends of mine hardly come online after started working. Will i become like one too? Probably... :P

OH yeah... resume my Drama marathon after returning from my interview. Although i didn't really watch the earlier episodes, but its kinda interesting after started watching from the middle part of the story. Maybe i will watch again if it shows in local drama.

Hongkong dramas are still the best, that tells me why some of my friends actually anti local productions. LOL. Especially being a cantonese myself, its really enjoying watching these dramas. The emotions, words, grammar.. etc are totally different, if you were to convert to mandarin, it would be CRAP. To get i am trying to say, watch the 7pm show tonight. You will understand. :)

Had a good rest yesterday, after going to 3 interviews this week, which is pretty tiring but one good thing is I really gained confident after each time. I can say this is the most interviews i been to in my life up till now. :P Its really important to find a job that i really want for my first job. Though i have some backup plans as well. Which is going for a job that i don't have much interest in, but a better paid job. :S

Today's interview was a good one, spent some time really talking to the manager, one of the best interview session so far. Will only know the result next week if i am shortlisted anot. Nevertheless, i will be having another interview tomorrow. Never Ending interviews.. TIRING as well. :S

The interview took less than 20mins... The company is citigroup, one of my dream company to work in... but pay wasnt wat i expected and its contract basis and no conversion to perm at all. Hence, i told them i would consider... LOL

Tomorrow and thursday will be having interview too. Quite fun to go for interview but the travelling do make me feel lethargic. :(

Came back from hougang mall and i saw Kelvin aka Wen Hai from Superstar No. 2 in one of the shop at basement. Look quite prominent and pretty smart. Haha. But my sis dunno who is he. LOL

Glad that my frends who took 466 cleared their modules. Quite happy for them cos this paper is a killer. But from the look at their scores, really find that their paper/semester this time is much harder than those i took.

Will be having an interview tomorrow... My panda eyes are still around. Die!

The weather is really killing me.....

Tomorrow will be sweating in that long sleeves shirt again. Darn!
